I’m a London-based book designer with almost 30 years’ experience in publishing, creating fiction and non-fiction titles across a wide range of visually led subjects — including art, architecture, design, photography, fashion, film, music, archaeology, history, and popular culture. In recent years, my work has increasingly focused on academic publishing.
I began my career at Thames & Hudson, where I worked in-house before moving into freelance design almost 20 years ago. Since then, I’ve collaborated with a broad range of publishers, from established independents to self-published authors, including Boydell & Brewer, Hurst Publishers, Nomad, Splendid Publications, and Story Terrace.

Thank you so much, Beth, for the striking & highly original cover you designed for Immortal Thoughts. That was a brilliant idea, it sums up the different sides of the text very cleverly…smart too, I love the way it connects with the end papers.

Beth is a commercially savvy and creative jacket designer, with a highly developed sense of composition and wonderful appreciation of colour that informs all her designs - she's a pleasure to
work with and I highly recommend her.

It is a joy to work with Beth on our books, she is calm in a crisis, wonderfully creative with the material we give her, and her attention to details and deadlines is second to none.
